Good Day.
I'm Larry Riley.

(Does this look artistic, or just blurry?)

Summertime, and the living is easy.  Not a chance.  But living is easier.  No teaching, just researching, interviewing, and writing. Not on campus regularly (except to water the office plant) but available to meet if necessary.  Email me anytime.

I teach in the Writing Program of the Department of English at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. A journalist, too, I write social/political commentary columns appearing Wednesdays and Sundays in the Perspectives section of The Star-Press (once at that site, click on Opinion, switch from default grid to list and scroll down to my visage), a 30,000-circulation daily in east-central Indiana. For several years, I wrote from Muncie for the Indianapolis Star. I'm also a member of Steeler Nation. Isn't this downright Dilbertish that almost one word in ten takes you away?
